Marketing Manager (ABM & Field Marketing)

Location: New York City (3 days / week in-office)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 / year

About Us

We're a venture-backed company building an AI-native supply chain operating system for restaurant chains. We automate planning, inventory management, and spend optimization, driving higher sales, lower COGS, and saving team time. SightlineOS was co-founded by Yusha Hu, who previously led supply chain and procurement teams at Chipotle, sweetgreen, and HelloFresh, and technical cofounders Derrick Staten and Louis Bensard. Derrick was technical cofounder of The League and an engineer and head of product at Branch as it scaled from zero to a $4B valuation, while Louis has nearly a decade of experience in data science and deep experience building scalable solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

The Role

As our founding marketing hire, you will be responsible for taking Sightline OS from stealth to a recognized, buzzy, and beloved emerging leader in restaurant technology. Your mission is to build a list of target accounts, build creative and curated campaigns that get us through the door of the world’s most exciting restaurant brands, and work hand-in-hand with our sales team to create the brand voice, positioning, and materials they need to successfully close deals. You’ll sit in on sales calls and attend events to hear what our clients are saying, then immediately pivot our messaging based on what you learn. You’ll have end-to-end ownership of marketing strategy and execution, and report directly to our CEO.

What You'll Do

  • ABM Strategy: Develop and execute 1:1 and 1:few account-based marketing programs. You’ll define, research, and monitor the "target list" and create high-touch curated campaigns for key stakeholders within those companies. You’ll decide whether that requires a digital campaign, a technical whitepaper, or a custom-built physical gift.

  • Field Marketing & Execution: Own our presence at major industry conferences and lead the production of our own intimate and intimate field events (e.g., executive dinners, VIP roundtables).

  • Brand Voice & Positioning: Distill our complex technical product into a simple, high-impact value proposition. You own the messaging and copy across all content and will work hand-in-hand with our sales team to provide the collateral and talking points needed to build high-urgency and high-trust customer relationships.

  • Content & Thought Leadership: You’ll produce (and manage freelancers for) videos, white papers, and case studies that solve our customers' biggest pain points.

  • Demand Generation: Use targeted digital channels and "dark social" to ensure our brand is omnipresent for our target account list and generate qualified leads.

  • ROI Tracking: Measure the impact of events and ABM spend on pipeline velocity and contract size (ACV) rather than just "leads."

Requirements

  • 2+ years in enterprise marketing with a proven track record in ABM or field marketing, ideally at a Series A/B start-up. You have a deep specialty in ABM or field marketing, and are competent in brand positioning, content generation, and demand generation.

  • Creative, resourceful, and relentless, and feels strong ownership over results. You are proactive in identifying opportunities and crafting solutions, and you are excited about having autonomy to make impactful decisions and drive marketing strategy.

  • You are comfortable interacting with high-level executives and understand the "concierge" level of service required for enterprise deals.

  • Willing to travel and enjoy being "on the ground" at events and building relationships in person.

  • Familiar with ABM tools, CRMs, and content creation tools.

  • You can write clear, persuasive copy in the language of our industry and client.

  • You are intellectually curious and interested in understanding every aspect of the company. You move fast, don’t like working in silos, and want to contribute to overall company strategy.

  • Willing to work in-person in NYC 3 days a week
