Note from our CEO
After years leading supply chain teams at Chipotle, sweetgreen, and HelloFresh, I kept asking the same questions: why does implementation have to be so painful, why can't software anticipate supply risk instead of just reporting on it, and what would it feel like to have technology that actually fits the way we work?
When AI made those questions answerable, I stopped asking and started building.
I bring the operator's scar tissue — the wrong forecast, the supplier that goes dark overnight, the perpetual pressure to find cost savings — and the operator's joy — the LTO that lands without a hitch, the team that rises to the moment.
Sightline OS is the platform I wish I'd had at every job I've held in this industry, and I'm building it alongside the right people to make it real: Derrick, a product builder who knows how to make technology stick, and Louis, a machine learning engineer who knows how to solve hard problems with AI.

Yusha Hu
CEO & CO-FOUNDER
Before starting Sightline, Yusha led supply chain and procurement teams at Chipotle, sweetgreen, and HelloFresh — giving her a firsthand understanding of the operational complexity modern restaurant teams navigate every day. Yusha saw there was a gap in the way supply chain teams were supported by technology, and wanted to create a solution that would make supply chain teams focus on fulfilling, impactful work, as well as move the needle for their business. -

Derrick Staten
CTO & CO-FOUNDER
Before Sightline, Derrick served as engineer and head of product at Branch, helping grow it into one of the world's most widely used mobile marketing platforms — with clients including Starbucks and Uber. He brings that same instinct for building products that scale to Sightline: crafting a platform that compounds in value the more each restaurant uses it. -

Louis Bensard
HEAD OF DATA, AI, ML & CO-FOUNDER
Before Sightline, Louis spent his career building and deploying machine learning solutions for Fortune 500 companies across retail, finance, and aviation sectors — most recently as a data science manager at Ekimetrics, where he led cross-functional teams delivering data-driven strategies at scale. Louis brings that depth of applied ML experience directly to Sightline's forecasting engine — building models that get smarter the longer they run. -

Jake Anderson
DIRECTOR OF SALES
Before Sightline, Jake spent his career at the intersection of technology and hospitality, helping operators cut through complexity and get the most out of their partnerships at companies like Olo, Cardlytics, and Groupon. He joined Sightline OS because he believes operators deserve tools built specifically for them — and he's here to make sure they find it.

Emily Schultz
HEAD OF MARKETING
Before joining Sightline, Emily spent a decade building brands at the intersection of food and technology — most recently as Director of Restaurant Marketing at Clover and Senior Manager of Brand Marketing at BentoBox, where she forged partnerships with the James Beard Foundation, and launched new-to-market products for the restaurant space. She brings deep expertise in building brands that connect with restaurant audiences and drive measurable growth.
